REVEALED! Anita Dongre’s Love Notes

Acclaimed designer Anita Dongre knows how to play her cards right when it comes to fashion. Featured on CNN’s ‘Growing India’ series in 2015 and listed in ‘50 Most Powerful Women in Business’ by Forbes India, Fortune India, Business Today and Blackbook Magazine, Anita has changed the fashion scenario of the country with a fusion of high street and ethnicity.

Recently, Anita showcased a mesmerizing line of clothing ‘Love Notes’ at Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2016 that left us speechless.

The show was star-studded with actor Sonakshi Sinha as the showstopper and Swara Bhaskar, Mira Rajput, Poonam Sinha, Mini Mathur, Sanjay Suri, Isha Koppikar and many others as guests.

The collection embraces the summer season with bright prints and pastel hues and is manifested in stunning occasion wear complimented with georgettes and Chanderi silk.

Every ensemble – be it a classic suit or a lehenga or the signature gotta patti and resham embroidery – narrates a love story in its unique way.

‘Love Notes’ delicately captures the musings of love that a young woman experiences from the changes her ‘special someone’ is likely to bring into her life.  In a holiday with herself, the assemblage of reminiscent thoughts of this young girl is reflected in the collection. She wanders through the grand red sandstone corridors and the majestic courtyard of Bikaner’s Junagarh palace, its grandiose architecture and intricate detailing. Such is the essence of the collection.

With a breathtaking collection like this, who wouldn’t want to fall in love!
